Adventure Aquatics is NOT a learn to swim course. This class has been designed to engage students in aquatic sports of all intensities to enhance their their healthy lifestyles. With units ranging from snorkeling to canoeing students can expect to find new ways to enhance their physical health.

HOMEWORK CHECK 60 points
Today we will do some pretest skills that will help you evaluate you level of physical fitness.
In this unit we will use different equipment including noodles, weights, aqua belts, and kick boards to learn about this low impact form of exercise. This is good for the joints and helps to improve flexibility. Students will also learn some basic anatomy in this unit to become more aware of the body parts that they are working.
Day 9 - 16
Cardboard Boat Regatta
This is a group project and you will only have 3 days to research and construct the boat. To Build the boat, you can only use duct tape and cardboard. On the 4th day you will race your boat out on the water to see it's construction can hold.
