Hello! My name is Ms. Halleck and I am the new teacher for Careers and Interpersonal Relations. I am very excited to get to learn about Knox High School and to get to know the students! :)

I'm back! Yes, I did retire at the end of last year, after 37 years, but I'm back half time now, because of a large class size for the new teacher. So, this year, I'm just teaching the seniors, and I'm only in school on Red Days. I have a new room, B116, and a new phone extension, #1948. I think I'm going to enjoy semi-retirement, and I'm excited about working with the seniors on skills that they will need for entering the real-world in June! The picture is of me with my new grandson, Collin Matthew, who was born July 28.

I have been teaching something for about 25 years. I love working with the students and helping them to be the best they can be. In my spare time I love to watch my White Sox and Blackhawks. I also play part time in a band.

Sr. 'K' is a graduate of Ball State University and Indiana University. Over the last 27 years he has taught Spanish at all levels from K-12 to the college level. During that time he also served as an asst. principal and as a principal for 15 yrs. in both public and private schools. Sr. 'K' also teaches college level education courses helping aspiring teachers achieve their goal of becoming effective, professional educators. Sr. 'K' has traveled to Mexico, Spain, Portugal and Morroco. Currently, in addition to teaching Spanish at KHS, Sr. 'K' is also teaching courses at Purdue Univ. Calumet, Bethel College, Indiana Univ. South Bend, Ivy Tech and for Indiana Univ. Northwest.
