Free tutoring is available from all teachers every morning between 7:30-8:00 am. If your student needs help with homework, or has to makeup work, it is important that they use this dedicated time to work with the teacher. Study tables are availabity in Mrs. Burke's room daily from 7:00-7:55 am and 3:00-4:00 pm. Please don’t forget to use the PowerSchool parent portal to keep up to date on student progress.
Remediation/Credit Recovery OPTIONS EXPANDING AT khs
NovaNET is a research based electronic system that will allow Knox High School to tailor an educational experience for our struggling students that have had difficulty being successful in the traditional classroom. This system is digital, standards-based courseware that accommodates each student individually. NovaNET is considered a highly qualified teacher for the State of Indiana allowing students a variety of credit recovery options. Instructional technology automates lesson delivery and monitoring so that students can progress at their own rate to earn credit. Our school firmly believes our students may enhance their education through access to the uniqueness that computer on-line resources provide.
