MY SCHOOL COLOR RUN - KHS Lifeskills
April 8, 2018
The Color Run is a five-kilometer, un-timed event in which thousands of participants, or “Color Runners”, are doused from head to toe in different colors at each kilometer.  After Color Runners complete the race, the fun continues with an unforgettable Finish Festival. This larger than life party is equipped with music, dancing and massive color throws, which create millions of vivid color combinations.

ZOMBIE FUN RUN - BEWARE OF THE MARCHING ZOMBIES - Knox Band Boosters
May 19, 2018
This "race" features the traditional 5k run with an untraditional twist! The infection has spread to the Marching Band/Color Guard members, alumni, and supporters causing zombies to run rampant. Our race is simple with a fun location, runners, and great zombies. See if you can save the human race by surviving with your organs (flags) intact! Your objective is to endure the 5k run, evade the infected zombies and reach the safe zone to receive: a race medal, beverage, t-shirt, and fun in the safe zone.

KHS eLearning Update!

What is eLearning?

The use of eLearning will expand teachers’ ability to continue instruction in the event of an inclement weather day, on a make-up day for inclement weather, or on a planned day for other valid opportunities. On an eLearning day, instruction will continue without disruption; teachers will post assignments and be available electronically for student/parent assistance.

Assignments
Students will be informed of their learning targets and activities by 9:00 a.m. the morning of an eLearning Day (by 10:00 a.m., if district called a delay earlier that morning).  Please remember, students may use a phone, laptop, or tablet to check assignments; any device that can connect to the internet can access Canvas.

Attendance Reporting
Students must submit the attendance form on the eLearning Day in order to be considered present.  Assignment completion will also be reviewed as an additional attendance check.

Greetings!

Knox High School is a wonderful school that has seen success in a number of areas and we continue to be excited about sharing enriching experiences with our students. We feel that it is important to keep the line of communication open between the teachers of Knox High School and the parents of the students that attend. Our staff is committed to excellence and we know as a team with parents we can create an environment that allows many opportunities for our students to excel. I wish to thank you and our staff for making such an important positive difference in the lives of so many of the district's students.

Dr. Elizabeth Ratliff
