AGE 28 IS TOO YOUNG TO RETIRE
Too many high school officials are “retiring” at too young of an age-30 or
Younger. And often, the reason is parents and adults fans.
Think about it. Would you give up weekend evenings with family and friends to
be chastised, berated and verbally abused?
There is a shortage of high school officials in our community - especially the
younger ones. And we need them, now more than ever. You can help address
this need by showing courtesy and respect to the men and women who officiate
our school’s games, even when you disagree with the call.
